Solwayer Type 1
Our Type 1 electric guitar comes in
ash and mahogany
bodied versions. The design makes reference to many well-loved features from classic
solid-body electrics, in a no-nonsense compact format which simply
oozes tone and character.
The Type 1 sports a lone Bare Knuckle 'Mule' open coil humbucker
in the bridge position, giving classic crunch combined with
excellent note separation. This versatile pickup also features a coil
tap for greater tonal variation - using the slug coil.
The 24¾ inch scale length, 12 inch fingerboard radius,
jumbo frets and low action also make for easy bends and speedy lead playing.
